Team New Zealand has won the Louis Vuitton Trophy sailing regatta beating Italy's Mascalzone Latino in today's deciding race in the best-of-three final.
After a close fought first leg, Team New Zealand cleared away on the Waitemata Harbour to lead the Louis Vuitton series after two rounds.
The Team New Zealand skipper Dean Barker says it's a win that means a lot to the team.
The team heads to Europe next to defend it's TP52 European title followed by the next round of the Louis Vuitton series.
