Lauaki to play Chiefs in Canberra

The former All Black number eight Sione Lauaki has been named in the Chiefs starting 15 for Friday night's rugby Super 14 match against the ACT Brumbies in Canberra

Lauaki, who appeared in court yesterday on an assault charge and will be sentenced on May 6, is one of four changes coach Ian Foster's made to the side which started in the home to the Crusaders a fortnight ago.

Jackson Willison returns at second-five Ben Afeaki will start at tighthead prop, lock Culum Retallick comes back into the tight five.

Hooker Hika Elliot is on the bench after recovering from a hamstring strain and fullback Tim Nanai-Williams also comes back into the reserves.

The team is: Sona Taumalolo, Aled de Malmanche, Ben Afeaki,Craig Clarke,Culum Retallick, Liam Messam, Tanerau Latimer, Sione Lauaki; Brendon Leonard, Stephen Donald, Sitiveni Sivivatu,Jackson Willison, Richard Kahui,Lelia Masaga,Mils Muliaina (captain).

Reserves: Hika Elliot, Nathan White, Jarrad Hoeata, Luke Braid, Junior Poluleuligaga,, Mike Delany,. Tim Nanai-Williams.
