The world number eight Ko is tied for the lead with American Lexi Thompson at the Indy Women in Tech Championship in Indiana after carding an eight under 64 in her second round.

Ko's round was nearly blemish free aside from one bogey at the par four eighth.

She started the round with five birdies in her first six holes and came home strongly with a four birdies on the back nine.

Ko's attempting to break a winless drought that stretches back to July last year and has seen the 20-year-old slip from the top of the world rankings to eighth.

Fox meanwhile is continuing to go from strength to strength at the European Masters in Switzerland, carding a three under 67 in his second round.

The 30-year-old's in a tie for sixth at eight under, five shots behind Australia's Scott Hend.

Fox remains on track to finish inside the European Tour's top 30 players of the season in the annual Race to Dubai standings.

He's currently 21st in his first full year on the European Tour, but could move further up the ladder with a strong finish this weekend.

Fox has had three top 10 finishes this year including two tie for fourths at the Irish and Scottish Opens in July.
