All Whites slip in world rankings while Peru climb

The tough battle the All Whites face in getting to the World Cup has been further underlined with play off opponents Peru moving into the top of ten of the FIFA world rankings for the first time.

The Peru team has moved up two places, from 12th to 10th spot.

Despite reaching the intercontinental playoff, New Zealand dropped nine places from 113 to 122, between Vietnam and Tajikstan.

The top three in the world rankings remain unchanged with Germany at No. 1 , followed by Brazil and Portugal.

England are up three spot to 12th place.
