Australia dominate day three of second cricket test against NZ

Australia has a lead of 300 runs at stumps on day three of the second cricket test against New Zealand in Hamilton.

The tourists are 333 for four in their second innings with Simon Katich top scoring with 106, his tenth test century.

Tim Southee and Brent Arnel have taken two wickets each for New Zealand.

Michael Clarke and Marcus North are the not out batsmen, both on 42.

Meanwhile Black Caps batsman Jesse Ryder's scored a century for Wellington against Otago, on his return to first class cricket after a lengthy injury layoff.

Ryder scored 103 off 109 balls.
