North Harbour have maintained their perfect start to the National Basketball League with an 83-79 victory over championship contenders the Nelson Giants in Auckland.
Hawkes Bay thrashed Wellington 92-72 at Taradale, the Cougars also easily beat Manawatu 85-68 in Christchurch and Southland lost at home to Taranaki, 82-81.
