Lockyer to keep playing representative rugby league says report

The Brisbane Broncos five-eighth Darren Lockyer will continue to play representative rugby league for Australia and Queensland according to News Limited.

Lockyer will announce his decision on his representative career at a media conference this afternoon in Brisbane.

It's been widely speculated the Queensland and Australian captain would announce his retirement from representative football.

But News Limited says Lockyer's been swayed by former players urging him to play for Queensland again,as they chase a record fifth straight Origin series.
