Two more swimmers under qualifying times in heats

Two Olympians Glenn Snyders and Hayley Palmer have gone under Commonwealth Games qualifying times after their heats at the New Zealand Swimming Championship in Waitakere.

Snyders was fastest in the 100 metres breaststroke at after missing qualification in the 200 by a tenth of a second last night,.

And Palmer was fastest in the 100 freestyle, nearly half a second inside the qualifying time for New Delhi.

They'll need to replicate those performances tonight though with official qualifying times able to be set only in the finals.

Moss Burmester pipped Corney Swanepoel in heats of the 100 butterfly, Emily Thomas was fastest in the 50 breaststroke, Beckie Dooley topped the 100 breaststroke and Carsten Corazza

the 400 individual medley.
