Leading Australian netballer Sharni Layton has withdrawn from the Diamonds squad for the upcoming quad series as she continues to recover from exhaustion.

Layton missed the quad series earlier this year along with the Constellation Cup games against the Silver Ferns citing exhaustion.
She had been included in the Diamonds squad for the tournament involving New Zealand, England and South Africa in the New Year but coach Lisa Alexander says after a recent camp Layton wasn't at the fitness levels required for the tournament, which is the last major tournament before the Commonwealth Games.
