Hohaia strikes at death to seal dramatic win for Warriors

The Warriors have scored a last minute try to break the deadlock and beat the Bulldogs 30-24 in their fifth-round National Rugby League clash in Sydney.

Lance Hohaia's 79th minute try came after the Warriors had broken a 12-12 half-time deadlock to lead 24-12 early in the second half.

But the Bulldogs seized the momentum back with two tries in three minutes to lock the scores up at 24-24 with 21 minutes still to play.

The game turned into an arm wrestle with the home side missing a field goal attempt before the late heroics from stand-off Hohaia.

Winger Manu Vatuvei played despite his hamstring injury and scored his sixth try in just four games before again succumbing to the injury early in the second half.

In Saturday's other matches, Wests Tigers won at North Queensland 23-16, with Kiwis captain Benji Marshall again a key figure, while South Sydney beat Newcastle 28-10 at Gosford.
