Less than a week after his return to the PGA tour at the Masters, Tiger Woods has confirmed he'll be playing in the second major championship of the year, the US Open in mid-June at Pebble Beach in California in June.
After finishing in a tie for fourth at the Masters on Monday Woods gave no hint about his schedule, saying he planned to take some time off to re-evaluate things.
Woods, a 14-times major champion, obliterated his rivals at Pebble Beach during the 2000 U.S. Open to win by 15 strokes, which is the largest margin of victory ever in a major championship.
