World No.4 Justin Thomas, overnight leader Luke List and Sweden's Alex Noren are setting the pace at seven under, two shots ahead of in-form Englishman Tommy Fleetwood.

The final groups are moments away from entering the PGA National's "Bear Trap' - a brutal three-hole stretch featuring two par 3s with greens surrounded by water.

Thomas is gunning for his eight PGA Tour title while List and Noren are yet to taste victory on the US circuit.

Meanwhile, Tiger Woods signed off on the third event of his injury comeback from spinal fusion surgery with a solid even-par 70, finishing at even par.

Wearing his famous red shirt and black trouser final round attire, Woods raced out to three under and looked to be making a run but dropped three shots across the 15th and 16th holes.

Adam Scott made good on his goal to play the weekend rounds under par, following his Saturday 67 with a 69 on day four to finish at one over.

Fellow Australian Greg Chalmers signed off in style with a 67, improving his total to two over.
