The New Zealand born rugby player Riki Flutey looks set to miss the opportunity to play against the New Zealand Maori.
Flutey is set to have surgery on his shoulder which will rule him out of playing for England again this season.
Flutey became the first player to play for and against the British and Irish Lions and was set to do the same for and against the Maori who play England as a part of their centenary celebrations in June.
