The Chiefs coach Ian Foster's had a rare piece of good news with the All Black winger Sitiveni Sivivatu ready to return for Friday night's Super 14 rugby match against the Cheetahs in Hamilton.
Sivivatu's been out with a knee injury and now there's the prospect of winger Lelia Masaga and another All Black, first five-eighth Mike Delany, being out for the rest of the competition, with the Chiefs having dropped to tenth after two home losses in a row.
Another All Black, centre Richard Kahui, is also nursing a shoulder injury.
Foster says the lock Kevin O'Neill , who's been out with an achilles tendon injury, could also be fit to play.
