Storm chairman offers resignation

The Melbourne Storm chairman Rob Moodie has offered his resignation and admits the disgraced National Rugby League side could fold.

Moodie says the club's owners News Limited haven't accepted it but if they want him to go he will.

Moodie's convinced the club will survive, but admits there's a chance it could fold and the main sponsors may walk away.

He says some Storm empoyees will want to leave, some fans will want to walk away and so will some sponsors after the revelation the Storm had been involved in a massive salary cap rort concealing nearly illegal payments of nearly $2 million to its top players over five years.
