Storm coach vows not to walk away

The Melbourne Storm coach Craig Bellamy has vowed to rebuild the shattered rugby league club, and welcomed the NRL's continued investigation into the $2 million salary cap breach that's rocked Australian sport.

Bellamy says the 48 hours since the NRL hit the club with heavy penalties, including stripping their two premierships and all points for this season, have been the toughest of his and his players' sporting lives.

Speaking publicly for the first time since the scandal erupted Bellamy read a statement with players standing behind him but wouldn't answer questions, citing the investigation.

He said he would not walk away from the club and urged fans not to, saying the Storm was going to fight back.
