Brian Waldron, the man accused of being the architect of the Melbourne Storm salary cap scandal, says he is willing to reveal all he knows about the scandal to a public inquiry.
The former Melbourne Storm chief executive has called for a properly constituted and transparent inquiry, and says he's prepared to give the entire background to News Ltd's major shareholder Rupert Murdoch, so that he has a full understanding of how his company has managed a $66 million investment in the Melbourne Storm since its inception.
Melbourne's Herald Sun newspaper reported on Monday that Waldron approached Network Seven through a PR company to appear on its Sunday Night programme for a "six-figure sum" to tell his side of the story, but the channel's head of news and current affairs rejected the approach.
