King Turner scores tennis upset in Greece

The New Zealand tennis player Dan King-Turner has caused a major upset with a career-best victory in the first round of the Rhodes Challenger in Greece.

King-Turner ranked at 244 beat Swiss Davis Cup player and world number 57 Marco Chiudinelli in 3 sets.... it's the first top 100 victory for the Kiwi player.

The win gains King-Turner six ATP singles ranking points and has set him up for a second round match against former top 50 ranked Nicolas Mahut of France.

In doubles King-Turner and Australian partner, Sam Groth won their first round match defeating Latvian Andis Juska and Russian Mikhail Ledovskikh 6-4 6-2. They play top seeds Jamie Murray and Jonathan Marray from Britain in the quarterfinals.
