The All Blacks and Blues lock Ali Williams is to have a third operation on his troublesome Achilles tendon, delaying his return to rugby until the end of the year.
Williams had planned to play in the upcoming provincial competition but now requires a reconstruction of the tendon, which was ruptured in a pre-season match for the Blues in January.
