Bonds should be admitted to Hall of Fame says fellow players

Home run record holder Barry Bonds should be admitted to the National Baseball Hall of Fame despite suspicions he used performance enhancing drugs, according to a poll of Major League Baseball players.

An anonymous player poll conducted by ESPN showed 67 percent felt the former San Francisco Giants batter deserves to be honoured in Cooperstown.

Bonds, who passed Hank Aaron to become Major League Baseball's career home run leader in 2007, still faces perjury charges stemming from grand jury testimony he didn't use use performance enhancing drugs.
