The departure of batsman Kevin Pietersen from the England side has boosted the New Zealand cricketers hopes of making the semi finals at the Twenty-20 world cup in the Carribean.
The Black Caps play England on Tuesday morning in St Lucia and need to win the game by a good margin to guarantee themselves a semi-finals berth.
Pietersen was key to England's win over South Africa in their match but has returned to England for the birth of his first child.
