Armstrong's lawyers fire back at Landis

Lance Armstrong's lawyers have fired back at the disgraced American cyclist Floyd Landis, after his accusation Armstrong cheated during his seven Tour de France wins.

Landis was stripped of his 2006 Tour de France win for failing a drug test and after protesting his innocence he's admitted doping and accused Armstrong and other riders of cheating, too.

Armstrong's lawyers have used his team website to post a series of private emails they say are between Landis, his doctor and cycling officials and sponsors.

They say the emails reveal an angry and misplaced effort at retribution for perceived slights.

Armstrong's never failed a doping test and his lawyers says it's regretable so many in cycling are now attacked by a bitter and scorned Landis who has zero credibility.
