The New Zealand's women's hockey team has been beaten 3-1 in the series deciding fourth test in Wellington.
The Black Sticks had to win to retain a chance of taking the series tomorrow afternoon in Wellington after they lost the first test and drew the second and third.
They scored early through striker Piki Hamahona but captain Beth Jurgeleit says it's frustrating they couldn't convert the other chances they created,
India equalised just after half-time and got the winner late in the second spell.
