Blackhawks into Stanley Cup final

The Chicago Blackhawks have booked their place in the Stanley Cup ice hockey finals for the first time in 18 years by completing a 4-0 clean sweep of their Western Conference final with the San Jose Sharks.

The Blackhawks, who last won the Stanley Cup in 1961, won game four 4-2.

The Blackhawks will now play the winner of the Eastern Conference final between the Philadelphia Flyers and the Montreal Canadiens. The Flyers lead 3-1 with a home game tomorrow.
