Pakistan has named the banned cricketers Younus Khan and Shoaib Malik in a preliminary 35-man squad for next month's Asia Cup and two Test series' against Australia and England.
Pakistan's chief selector, Mohsin Khan, says the inclusion of the two players is dependant on their appeals succeeding.
Khan says the team needs the best available players for the coming tours.
The all-rounder Shahid Afridi has been named as captain for their tour of England, after announcing he was available again for test cricket after a four-year absence.
