Team New Zealand has won its third match of the Louis Vuitton Trophy in Sardinia, beating the Russian team Synergy by just four seconds.
The team's match against Azzurra, scheduled for the end of the day, was abandoned.
The regatta has been wrecked by the weather with Dean Barker's crew having won two of their three races with two more scheduled for tomorrow.
