The Wellington Phoenix will play Argentinian football giants Boca Juniors in a pre-season fixture at Westpac Stadium in July.
The South American superclub will make the trip to New Zealand for the first time as a part of a trip that includes matches in Australia.
Boasting superstars such as Juan Roman Riquelme and Martin Palermo, Boca has won 18 international titles - a record matched only by Italian giants AC Milan.
The match in Wellington is on Friday July 23rd.
The Singapore promoters are underwriting the tour.
