After seven weeks off Michael Campbell has returned to the European golf tour, but there's been no improvement in his form.
In the final year of his exemptions as the 2005 US Open champion, Campbell already looks certain to miss the cut at the Madrid Masters after an opening round of 80.
Fellow New Zealander Danny Lee did much better with a 69 to be four strokes behind the leading trio, Welshmen Jamie Donaldson and Rhys Davies, and England's Luke Donald.
