All Whites enjoying Austrian setup

The All Whites coach Ricki Herbert has indicated that he's likely to play the rest of his squad during the European leg of their buildup to next month's World Cup.

The squad has arrived in St Lambrecht in Austria in preparation for Sunday morning's match against world number 15 Serbia.

Herbert says psychologically they're in World Cup mode now. They've got teams like England and Japan preparing alongside them in Austria so there's a real sense that they're back on the world stage again.

He says they'll make some personnel changes but they won't change tack on what they're trying to achieve.

Two changes will be forced on Herbert. Vice-captain Tim Brown is recovering well after surgery on a broken shoulder sustained in the Australian friendly while Monday night's goal scorer Chris Killen has returned to the UK on a fleeting visit to get married.

St Lambrecht is over 1,000 metres above sea level and provides an ideal location to acclimatise to the rigours of playing World Cup matches at altitude in South Africa.
