Samoa have won their first ever IRB rugby sevens series after making the final of the last round in Scotland.
Samoa clinched the title with a 15-12 victory over England in the semi-finals before beating Australia 41-14 in the final in Edinburgh.
Australia beat New Zealand 24-19 to make the final.
New Zealand needed to win the Scotland tournament and hope Samoa didn't make the final to have any chance of winning the series.
