Tasman prop Ben Franks and his brother and fellow front rower Owen Franks of Canterbury will become the latest set of brothers to make the same All Blacks squad, if they take the field next weekend against Ireland.
Ben Franks made his only All Blacks appearance in a midweek game against Munster on the 2008 end of year tour, then had to watch Owen play eight Tests without getting back in black.
But Ben's not jealous of his younger brother, saying it wasn't tough at all watching Owen play for the national team and he wasn't just proud of him, like the rest of the family - it was strong motivation to try to get alongside him.
The last brothers to feature for the All Blacks were the Maugers in 2001, though they didn't play in a Test together.
