Three test debutants named in All Blacks test side

Three test debutants have been named in the All Blacks side to play Ireland, in the first test of the season in New Plymouth, on Saturday night.

Prop Ben Franks, midfielder Benson Stanley and fullback Israel Dagg have been named in the starting fifteen.

Another three players, Sam Whitelock, Victor Vito and Aaron Cruden could make their test debuts from the reserves bench.

Ben Franks, will join his brother Owen in the front row, making it the first time in 13 years that brothers have played alongisde each other in a test for the All Blacks.

Zinzan and Robin Brooke, were the last brothers to achieve the feat, against Englnad in 1997.

Richie McCaw, captain, Ben Franks, Keven Mealamu, Owen Franks, Brad Thorn, Anthony Boric, Jerome Kaino, Kieran Read, Jimmy Cowan, Daniel Carter, Josevata Rokocoko, Benson Stanley, Conrad Smith, Cory Jane, Israel Dagg.

The reserves: Aled de Malmanche, Neemia Tialata, Sam Whitelock, Victor Vito, Piri Weepu, Zac Guildford.
