Two Irish players have been confirmed on the reserves bench for the New Zealand Barbarians team to play an historic match against New Zealand Maori in Whangarei on Saturday, with Irish hooker Damian Varley and prop Tom Court added to the side.
Both players have been made available by the visiting Irish team and will assemble with the New Zealand Barbarians in Whangarei today.
They will re-join the Ireland squad in Rotorua on Sunday.
