The England rugby coach Martin Johnson has dismissed claims debutant and former New Zealand rugby league international Shontayne Hape was picked as a defensive midfielder in the side to face Australia in Perth on Saturday.
Hape will be playing his first Test for England and takes over at second five eight from injured fellow New Zealander Riki Flutey.
Johnson's been criticised for picking a defence-minded midfield but he says the former Kiwi will prove an offensive handful.
