The Boston Celtics have levelled their NBA basketball finals series with the LA Lakers at two games apiece.

Trailing by two points going into the final quarter at home, the Celtics stormed back to take game four 96-89 thanks to a nine-nil run in the final period, reserve forward Glen Davis going big inside the paint with five of his 18 points and Ray Allen making four.

Game Five will be Monday at the Boston Garden before the series shifts to Los Angeles for game six and, if necessary, game seven.
