The Wellington Saints have clinched a home semi-final in the National Basketball League after thrashing Manawatu 102 to 65 in Porirua.
The lowest Saints can now finish in the regular season is second.
North Harbour are assured of a playoff berth after winning on the road against Nelson, 92-72, the second straight loss for the Giants ending any chance of a home semi at the Trafalgar Centre.
Hawke's Bay also cemented a top six NBL playoff spot after a home victory over Taranaki, the Hawks winning 87-68 in Taradale.
