The Ireland rugby Number 8 Jamie Heaslip will appear at a judicial hearing after being red-carded during the All Blacks 66-28 victory over the Shamrock in New Plymouth last night.

Heaslip was sent off in the 15th minute of the match by referee Wayne Barnes for allegedly using his knee to strike All Blacks captain Richie McCaw and as a result will be required to appear at a judicial hearing.

The hearing will be held before IRB Judicial Officer Michael Cashman at the Devon Hotel, in New Plymouth at midday.
