The Netherlands have opened their World Cup programme with a 2-nil win over Denmark in Johannesburg.
The highly-rated Dutch were helped by a freak own goal at the start of the second half, and Dirk Kuyt made sure of the win when he tapped in a rebound off the post five minutes from the end.
