The Italian football camp doesn't know when Gianluigi Buffon will be able to return from a sciatic nerve problem and resume his goalkeeping duties at the FIFA World Cup.
Buffon, who has suffered an injury-hit two years, was substituted at half-time in Italy's 1-1 draw with Paraguay in their World Cup Group F opener in Cape Town.
In a statement the team says it's impossible to estimate when he might return.
Buffon had suggested after the game that he might be able to return to training in two days and could be fit for the second group game against New Zealand on Monday morning.
