The New South Wales forward Luke O'Donnell will miss the third and final State of Origin rugby league match, after being suspended for three games for a dangerous tackle in last night's loss to Queensland in Brisbane.
O'Donnell entered an early guilty plea to the charge stemming from a spear tackle on Queensland winger Darius Boyd which sparked an all-in brawl in the Blues' 34-6 loss.
As his North Queensland club have only two NRL matches plus a bye before game three it means he'll miss the dead rubber early next month when New South Wales will attempt to salvage some pride after a fifth straight series loss.
