Dixon not too disappointed at missing out on pole position

The New Zealand motor racing driver Scott Dixon will start from the front row of the grid for latest round of the Indy Car series tomorrow, the Iowa 250.

Australia's Will Power won pole for the event beating Dixon by a fraction of a second.

Dixon's third in the overall standings heading into the race, behind Power and championship leader Dario Franchitti, who's starting from fifth on the grid.

Dixon says not qualifying fastest isn't a major disappointment as he doesn't have a good history of performing well when he's qualified fastest.
