New Zealand will have 2 teams in the semi finals of the trans-Tasman netball competition.
The Southern Steel have joined the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic in the playoffs, after the West Coast Fever upset the Queensland Firebirds 67-59 in Perth last night.
Queensland needed to win the match to edge the Steel out of the top four.
It means the Steel won't have to beat the competition leaders and unbeaten New South Wales Swifts in Sydney tonight in their final round robin game to make the semis.
