Portugal are celebrating their biggest World Cup victory after sending North Korea crashing out of the tournament with a 7-0 nil in their second group match.

Ronaldo got on the scoresheet at last as the Portuguese put themselves in prime position to qualify from group G with Brazil after a scintillating display of attacking football.

Portugal play Brazil in their final group match, but their goal difference should see them through regardless of the Ivory Coast-North Korea result.

Chile continued their dream run with a 1-0 defeat of 10-man Switzerland to move within touching distance of the last 16.

With two wins Chile lead Group H which includes Spain and Honduras.
