The world golf number one Tiger Woods denies there's any tension between he and his New Zealand caddie Steve Williams despite comments made after the U.S. Open that were widely interpreted as critical.

After the final round at Pebble Beach nearly two weeks ago, Woods said he made three mental mistakes and went against his instincts.

The remarks were interpreted as being critical of Williams.

But Woods who's playing this week's PGA event in Pennsylvania, his only offcial tournament between the U.S. Open and next month's British Open, says there's no tension between the pair.

Woods, who shot a four over par final round at Pebble Beach, says both he and Williams made mistakes on the course.
