Despite England's poor performance at the football world cup in South Africa, it appears coach Fabio Capello may not bear the brunt of fallout.

The Football Association's considering whether to sack Capello, after England failed to get past the final 16 stage when they were beaten by Germany.

Board member Phil Gartside has come out in support of Fabio Capello and says he expects him to keep his job, as he's the best man for the role.

The Bolton club chairman says he's also spoken to two other members of the FA's eleven member board, who also want Capello to stay.

The FA has told Capello, who has two years to run on his contract, that he'll have to wait another two weeks to find out if he has a future as England boss.
