Saints have stormed back into contention for the National Basketball League title after an emphatic 98-69 victory over Waikato in game 2 of the finals in Wellington.
The top qualifiers obviously made the right adjustments after their 6 point loss in Hamilton the night before with Eric Devendorf hitting a game high 24 points as Saints were never threatened.... they were up by 33 points at three-quarter time.
The deciding match is in Wellington tonight with Saints looking for their first title since 2003, while Waikato are the 2-time defending champions.
