Landis claims to spur Armstrong's Tour

Lance Armstrong says recent allegations that he doped during his career from former teammate Floyd Landis will only strengthen his push to win the Tour de France for record eighth time.

The 38-year-old Armstrong says he's in better shape than last year, when he capped his return to competition by finishing third after a three and a half year retirement.

This year's tour starting on Sunday will be Armstrong's last and he says Landis' accusations won't deter him they'll be an inspiration,

Landis, who was stripped of the 2006 Tour de France title for doping, recently claimed in e-mails to cycling officials and sponsors that Armstrong tested positive for EPO at the Tour de Suisse in 2002 but it was kept quiet.
