The Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic continued their late season charge by turning the tables dramatically on the New South Wales Swifts to win the preliminary final of the ANZ netball championship 54-49 in Newcastle.
The Magic lost to the Swifts by 17 goals just four weeks ago, and coach Noeline Taurua credits their upset win to hard work to go to the next level.
The Magic's star goal shoot Irene van Dyk stole the show with 43 goals from 44 attempts.
The Adelaide Thunderbirds host the Magic in Sunday's Grand Final.
