Muliaina sparks All Blacks attack

7:31 am on 11 July 2010

The All Blacks have kept their 73-year unbeaten run at Eden Park against the Springboks intact with a 32-12 bonus point victory over the defending Tri-Nations champions at Eden Park.

It was a vintage night from the veteran fullback Mils Muliaina, who set up the All Blacks' first try to Conrad Smith with a searing run.

Coach Graham Henry says Muliaina was having doubts when he missed most of the Super 14 with injuries and was concerned about his future but he shouldn't have worried.

Henry says he's never seen Muliaina play better for the All Blacks and he was outstanding.

The South African lock Bakkies Botha should miss the rematch next Saturday in Wellington - he faces a judicial hearing today after headbutting All Blacks halfback Jimmy Cowan in the second minute of the match.
