A four under par 67 third round has seen Wellington golfer Mark Brown climb 33 places into a share of 17th at the Scottish Open.
Brown's now 13 shots off the top of the leaderboard.
Northern Ireland's Darren Clarke's slipped from first to one shot behind the Italian Edoardo Molinari, who shot a sizzling eight under 63 - the penultimate day's lowest round at Loch Lomond.
